Necta Curriculum
Primary Curriculum
Aligned with NECTA, we develop our school pedagogy around five learner attributes. We challenge and support our students to grow academically, spiritually, and socially as they progress through their primary education.
Primary School
The evolution from child to student is carefully guided through structured learning activities in primary school. Between the ages of 6 and 11, children lay a strong intellectual foundation and develop the interests and talents God has instilled in them.
The guidance of our primary school teachers ensures a gradual introduction to assessment and testing, preparing children for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint, which marks their transition to secondary school.
This program is managed through achievement goals that students are expected to attain and is guided by key competencies in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- English
- Kiswahili
- Country and Heritage
- Bible and Christian Faith
- Science
- Computing
- Physical Education
- Arts (Design & Music)
- Global Perspectives
Students who complete our primary program receive excellent preparation to continue with secondary education at the institution of their preference, anywhere in the world.
